Department deals with complex facial and dental issues which includes restorations with the help of dentures or artificial tooth set , maxillofacial prosthetic appliances which replaces missing or damaged parts of face and many more.

Artificial tooth set can be removable or fixed and also can be complete arch dentures or partial dentures. This can be constructed according to the condition and demand of the patient.

Implant supported overdentures can be the best alternative for those patients who finds it difficult to carry a conventional teeth set.

When conventional teeth set is placed directly on gums, implant supported sets are placed over certain screws that are placed deep inside the jaw bone.

Cast Partial Denture

Consist of Cast metal framework with artificial teeth set in an acrylic resin. These are more stronger, durable and retentive.

Dr Monisha VS is a prosthodontist who have a proven ability to provide a vast range of clinical procedures to high standard in the speciality.

She did her BDS degree in the year 2011 and Masters in the year 2018 from kerala university of health sciences. She had also attended many certification courses in dental implants, lasers and emergency life saving. She is a part of many multispecialiy clinics and hospitals like shifa dental clinic, ozone dental clinic , national hospital and is the assistant professor in department of prosthodontics in KMCT dental college.
